TRAINING & FUN WEEKEND

.This is being held in Yorkshire and our trainer will be:-
David MacFarlane
David trained under John Rogerson at the Northern School of Animal Behaviour, completed the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers Course and has been on the Committee of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers for almost five years. He specialises in puppy training but also accepts referrals from local vets and Queens University. He is also accredited to work with disabled handlers.
The cost will be £10.00 per dog and hander and will include teas and coffees. If you require lunch please complete the form and send it in.
We will be looking for a maximum of 15 dogs for the Saturday so places will be limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Spectator laces are available at a cost of £5.00 a person.

The basic plan for the Saturday will be:-
10.00am start
The morning will be based around teaching how to use a clicker to train your dog. Showing how effective clicker training can be used to teach a range of disciplines including basic control, agility and showing.
Learning about living with a pack of dogs (the do's and dont's), behaviour and how to deal with issues,
Then after a lunch break dealing with behaviour issues such as stress, socialisation and habituation, dog to dog approaches, touching and handling.
David is also bringing with him a list of tricks; suggest how they can be taught and then performance will be judged as part of the Fun Day on Sunday.

This is aimed to be a fun weekend out for both dogs and handlers.
We would hope to finish between on each day 4.00 5.00pm
There will be a toilet/washroom available and please bring suitable clothing, including flat shoes/boots, waterproofs or sun cream (depending on the weather) !! J
All dogs must be fully fit and free from injury and must not have been in contact with any infectious diseases for 21 days prior to the event.
