My name is Alison Keel  is 23 years old and I am a qualified Nursery Nurse. At my Obedience club, I am also the Assistant Puppy Trainer. My goal for 2012 is to become an Accredited Trainer.

I have had dogs all my life but have never had an active roll in their training until we got our family GSD 6 years ago. I attended all her training classes and from then on I was hooked. I started doing agility training with her and we now compete. We have gained several places as well as numerous clear rounds. Together we have also achieved her Kennel Club Good Citizen 'Gold' award.

Flynn - DrCral Majestic Prince was our first Aussie and he was the first dog I have shown in Conformation and so we have both been learning together. We have had many placings and wins in our Breed classes. These include several Best of Breeds, a Best AVNSC and a Best AV Pastoral at Open Shows, and various Group Placings including a Group 1. We have also been consistently placed in the top three of our classes at Championship Shows, and he also does well in different Stakes classes.

We have now been showing for 5 years nearly and Flynn has qualified for Crufts 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 (now lifetime qualification). He gained his stud book number at ASCUK Championship Show in November 2011 under breed specialist Paula McDermid (USA) by winning a large Limit Dog class and this qualified him for Crufts for life. He also qualified for the YKC Stakes 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Flynn went on to win the YKC Pastoral Stakes final at Crufts 2010.

Flynn also Competes in agility and we only did a few shows in 2010/11 but got many placings and clear rounds. We are hoping to continue this success in 2012.We have now progressed to Grade 2 thanks to winning Grade 1 Agility at South Downs Agility show with Amber my German Shepherd in September 2010.

Flynn has also passed his Kennel Club Good Citizen 'Bronze' award along with Jake our Springer Spaniel. After a year’s break from Obedience we are hoping to start competing again in 2012.

Life at home is very hectic as we train 4 nights a week but I really enjoy all that I do with the dogs. I now also have a new Aussie puppy Armatan The Edge Of Glory who is Crufts qualified for 2012 and is doing well at Open Shows gaining several Best Puppy and Pastoral Puppy Group placings. I absolutely love the breed, and they are so versatile and so loving and devoted to you.

I have handled many other peoples dogs when they have asked me to but I mainly handle my friends 2 Aussie boys, Accra Home Alone who I qualified for Crufts 2011/12.  Also Lyvden Pheris Lore who at his first show Champ show in 2010, qualified for Crufts 2011. I will also be handling Ir.Ch Armatan Bad Moon Rising (ai) ShCM CW'07 & CW'10 at selected shows throughout 2012. I love 'Dash Dog'...(and Dash Dog loves Alison)...
