My name is Alison Keel  and I am 20 years old.

I am a qualified nursery nurse and at my obedience club, I am an assistant puppy trainer. My goal for this year is to become an accredited trainer.

I have had dogs all my life but have never had an active roll in their training until we got our GSD 3 ½ years ago. I attended all her training classes and from then on I was hooked.

I started doing agility training with her and we now compete. We have gained several places as well as numerous clear rounds. Together we have also achieved her Kennel Club Good Citizen 'Gold' award.

Flynn - DrCral Majestic Prince is our first Aussie and I have been showing him for about 18 months. He is the first dog I have shown in Conformation and so we have both been learning together. We have had many placings and wins in our Breed classes. These include several Best of Breeds, a Best AVNSC and a Best AV Pastoral at Open Shows. We have also been consistently placed in the top three of our classes at Championship Shows.

In 2007 we qualified for the YKC Stakes Final at Crufts 2008 and also the Breed classes. On the day we achieved a 1st and 2nd place in our Breed classes and also a 2nd in the YKC Pastoral Stakes class.

Already this year we have qualified for Crufts 2010 for Breed.

I have just received my 1st three showing award badges, and would like to hopefully achieve all 10.

Together we also do agility training and obedience and are starting to compete in both disciplines this year.

Flynn has also passed his Kennel Club Good Citizen 'Bronze' award.

Also at home we have a 2 year old English Springer Spaniel called Jake, whom my mum does Obedience with. She is also hoping to start Agility with him soon.

I would like to do the remaining KCGC awards with both Flynn and Jake over the next year.

Life at home is very hectic as we train 4 nights a week but I really enjoy all that I do with the dogs and will be definitely be getting another Aussie in the future. I absolutely love the breed, and they are so versatile and so loving and devoted to you.

Flynn now has his Pre Beg Ex qualification
