Catrin is 15 years old and in her fourth year at High School. She started doing a bit of handling at companion shows when she was only 6. She started more serious showing when she was 9, when we got Cody (Armatan Fernando) Since then she has learnt a lot about handling, and about dogs!
She has won places in many Junior Handling classes, and also shown in breed,
variety and stakes classes.
Catrin does have other hobbies as well as dog showing. She likes playing
netball, going swimming and hanging out with her friends!
Catrin's ambition when she
finishes school is to go to college and train to be a primary school teacher !!
Catrin has had many wins with her Australian
Shepherds, including Best of Breeds, Best AVNSC's and Best Veteran In Shows at Open Shows and several Best In Shows at
Companion Dog Shows. She has also won many classes of Junior Handling
with them and has qualified for the Junior Handling Semi-finals held at Richmond
Championship Dog Show on more than one occasion.
She also handles Ir.Ch Armatan Bad Moon Rising (ai) ShCM CW'07 CW'10 (Dash) to many wins at Open Shows in both Breed classes and Junior Handling classes. Catrin is now handling her new puppy Armatan Bring It On (ai).
You will often find Catrin handling Rough Collies and any other dog that she is asked to handle, making her a truly versatile and gifted young handler.
Wow.... now Catrin can nearly do it all !!! At Catrin's very first go in the Obedience ring, Catrin and Cody won 1st place in the ABC (Anything But Collies) class, doing a Novice round: heel on lead, heel off lead, recall and retrieve!!!!!!

Catrin has qualified for Crufts 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 in YKC Handling 12-16 Pastoral and Working
