About ASCUK

ASCUK is the foundation Australian Shepherd Club in the UK and was formed in 1986 by a few dedicated breed enthusiasts.

This included the founders of the breed in this country Mr Malcolm & Mrs Winnie Macintyre (RIP) and Mrs Carol Snell.

With the hard work of committee members over the years it has taken the Australian Shepherd from the Working and Obedience registers, on to the Import Register in 1995.

It then gained approval for the Breed standard (interim) in 1995, achieving full recognition for the breed in
January 2000 with Ticket status (CC's) being achieved in 2006.

ASCUK hold several events throughout the year depending on interest. These include a variety of shows, grooming/handling days, fun and training days which all Aussie enthusiasts are welcome to attend.
