Thank You very much for the invitation to judge this very well-organized show. I had a fantastic day. The atmosphere around the ring was very friendly and I felt very welcome. You found an absolutely first class steward. Having judged the breed in many countries in the world, I was happy to see that the tendency of ‘bigger, stronger and faster’ was not present. Remember it is a herding dog, not a race horse.

I had 2 males and 5 females of absolutely top class. They could change placings anytime. The quality in whole is very good and there are few details making the top standing out. Bitches, as often, were higher quality than males.

Any judge that get invited to judge this show, should consider themselves fortunate.

Very promising young handler. Knows her stuff. She was probably a bit tense in this class, that started the day. She came back in the ring several times during the day and just got better each time. Keep up the good work!

Very high level of handling in this class

1st Paige Spencer

Did all the things I asked for. Corrected when I “interfered”. Very soft hands. Easy on the move. She won the class and Best Junior Handler as she, more than the others, did free stack her dog, making the most out of her dog that way.

2nd Tamsin Blyton

Just millimeters behind the winner. Would leave my dogs in her hands anytime. Soft hands, really good on the move.

Still very young in his development but built on good lines. Head with good proportions. Good neck. Enough angulations back and forth. Good coat texture. Movements typical for age.
