I would like to take this opportunity to thank the ASCUK committee for asking me to judge this show. Also to the members for giving me such an entry with a great atmosphere around the ring on such a cold day, an atmosphere that was sadly being missed around the Aussie ring last time I was able to show.

Puppy Dog (1-1)

1st - JENKOVA KING OF DIAMONDS.

11 month old male who just needs to settle in the show ring, which will come with time and patience. He has a good head for age with correct bite, eyes, stop and ear set as one would expect from a young dog. Nice tight feet, and an overall nice type of Aussie. I feel he was carrying a little bit of extra weight on the day.

1st _ LAMINTONE CELESTIAL STORM ATSOULLARIA.

23 month old black tri male of good size. Good masculine head and excellent bite, stop, eyes and correct earset. Nice deep brisket with good overall bone and good feet giving a strong level back line on the move, nice type.

2nd - SILVARCEA RHYTHM N’BLUES FOR KISHAYA

28 month old blue merle male with a nice head and correct bite. Decent stop, oval eyes and correct ear set. He has a good length of neck, leading to a strong body with good tight feet on well boned legs. Good angulation but needs to be more settled on the move which on the day may have improved his chances as he has very good ring presence.

1st - ARMATAN THUNDERBOLT AT NANAIMO

5 year old red tri male who has a good head though is a little short in muzzle. Correct ear set and eye shape, nice deep brisket with good tight feet and a lovely coat. Excellent fluent movement although I thought he was carrying a bit of extra weight on the day, which in my view which gave a little roll on his movement. Nevertheless the quality was there. BEST DOG

1st _ BLEUROYAL DÉJÀ VU ShCM (IMP CHL)

3 year old blue merle with a lovely strong masculine head. Correct scissor bite, oval eyes and a decent ear shape with a nice muzzle. Good depth of brisket and excellent angulation. Nice tight feet, with a quality double coat and overall confirmation – moved well.

2nd _ HOT LIKE FIRE ELVIKAM ShCM (IMP POL)

4 year old red tri also with a lovely strong masculine head. Correct bite, with a lovely oval eye shape. Correct stop and ear set, a strong level topline with good angulation. A compact well boned dog with tight feet dog, giving good movement. On another day he may well have won this class

Veteran Dog (5-1)

The veterans in this Breed just do not accept the years they are, and they still enjoy showing and it shows that many could still do well at Championship Shows.

1st - SILVERDREAM AUSSIE’S MARZIPAN ShCM (IMP HUN)

7 year old red merle with a good strong masculine head, moderate stop, nice deep eyes. Good depth of brisket with a good fill underneath and level top line, nice angulation with good feet. Moved well using the full ring with ease, lovely type

2nd - DRCRAL MAJESTIC PRINCE P-BEG EX ShCM

9 year old black tri who is a finer type to the first but was very well balanced and very much in proportion. Good head, with a moderate stop, correct oval eyes and ear shape. Firm brisket and angulation, with good feet. A dog in good condition, his age giving him no problems with his showing capability. On the day I just preferred the more masculine type of 1.

1st - ALTUSSI ALCHEMISTS SECRET

14 month old blue merle bitch that is finer boned but is feminine throughout. Nice head

with good scissor bite. Correct eyes with a nice ear set, good neck leading to well-placed shoulders. Correct to ratio size, with nice angulation leading into tight feet. It was a pity that she was unsettled on her movement but she has plenty of time in the future to settle down.

Post Graduate Bitch (7-4)

1st - JENKOVA BRIGHT LIKA DIAMOND

2 year old black tri bitch who is a well sized feminine bitch throughout. She has a lovely head with excellent scissor bite. Moderate stop, correct ear set with a dark eyes giving a very alert and keen expression. A well-proportioned body,with very good movement keeping her top line level on the move. Definitely one to watch out for.

2nd - BLEUROYAL I OWN THE RUNWAY (IMP CHI)

3 year old black tri bitch that was very much equal to 1. A slightly more mature bitch, but I just thought first looked a bit more refined on the day. I expect these two will see a lot of each other alternating positions in the future.

1st - SILVARCEA TOO HOT TO TANGO

2 year old feminine bitch all through with an excellent head and correct scissor bite. Moderate stop, melting eye expression and correct ear set. Moderate neck leading to well placed shoulders, good depth of body to leg. Well let down hocks with good angulation and nice feet. In lovely coat and moved very well. BEST BITCH & BEST IN SHOW



Open Bitch (2-1)

1st - JIDACE BEALACY TO SHEPWOOD

7 year old well bodied bitch that has very good bone. A nice feminine head, an alert and a keen expression. She is in good coat, but slightly down on her front pasterns. Her movement was ok, but she had a little roll as she was carrying a little extra weight

Veteran Bitch (3-1)

1st - SHEPALIAN BAJIMBA AT ABODANDY (JW)

8 year old well-proportioned feminine bitch that has a good head and is well coated. She has good angulation showing a good bend of stifle and nice tight feet. She is very good for age and still has good movement and ring presence.

2nd - AMOUREUSE D’ABBEY DES CHEMIN CATHARES (IMP FRA)

10 year old red merle bitch that is of a heavier type than 1, but again is in good proportion. Pretty head and correct oval eyes, she is in excellent coat. Muscular body with good tight feet. As with 1, she is still able and willing to show excellent movement that belies her age. A very close decision to first.
